Dead End is an alternate universe fanfiction starring characters in "Avatar: The Last Airbender". The story revolves around Zuko, an heir to a multi-billion dollar corporation who loses his way after falling victim to a drunk driving accident (which result in a severe burn wound over one eye). Ever since he got his license, Zuko had a passion driving - and a need for speed. After moving in with his Uncle Iroh and taking advantage of an abandoned track near his house, he runs into Jet. Jet is the stereotypical thug from the other side of the tracks. He works for a local mechanic and has seen his fair share of racing wannabes in the past. None of them, however, have the same drive as Zuko. Fascinated, Jet takes Zuko under his wing and the two of them blindly venture into the world of underground amateur racing.
Also featured - Aang (the youngest champion racer with the most underestimated vehicle), Sokka (amateur racer who works for a rival mechanic), Katara (Sokka's sister and Jet's ex-girlfriend, a determined female racer out to win Aang's heart and destroy Jet's ego), Toph (Aang's mechanic and wise-cracking blind friend), Suki (Sokka's girlfriend and Katara's racing partner), Mai (Zuko's wealthy debutante ex-girlfriend who is almost as good behind the wheel as he is), Ty Lee (Mai's driving partner and another underestimated racer), and Azula (Zuko's younger sister and the current underground racing champion with the most tricked out car - out to destroy Zuko's image once and for all and bring honor to her family name).
Warning: This fanfiction heavily revolves around the Jet/Zuko pairing. If Slash really isn't your cup of tea, I'd recommend not reading it (despite the fact Hetero pairings are also featured).
